Lakorn Subbing News - Keyhui, Song Hua Jai Nee Puer Tur and more.

I have a number of tidbits to talk about.

Keyhui.me - Please sign up for Keyhui today, the easiest way is by using your Google plus or Facebook account. You don't have to pay money to sign up, but I think it's a good idea to show your support by just signing up.

If you do want to pay $6 per month, Keyhui has a discount code you can use "CA69C4C079" that is good until January 1, 2016 so you won't have to pay another $6 until March. You can apply the discount code in the Tip Jar section of the website, select $6.00, then on next screen, there will be something about adding discount code so input the code there, then go on to choose payment options.

Please note I am not asking anyone to pay $6, only to sign up. I'm only encouraging people to sign up just so there's a good idea of how many people are interested in a site devoted to subbing Thai lakorns. According to the site, there are only four lakorns Mai Sin Rai Fai Sawat, Bang Rajun, Plah Long Fah, and Sapai Sai Lub available to watch, and only one is completed subbed (Mai Sin Rai Fai Sawat). So it's up to you whether you wish to pay.


I am not affiliated with the site, although I have emailed and spoken with the founder Christy Chan a number of times, and nor have I ever accepted money from it. This is a lakorn site, and this is definitely lakorn news.


New Year's Surprise! - We will have a couple of lakorns to download on New Year. One we need a couple of more episodes to sub. Er, it's not really that big a surprise though. I'm still uploading some, so expect it around the new year.

JL Subbing Group - We will be continuing subbing in 2016, we're on break now! We do have a list of lakorns we will want to sub in 2016. We'll post that in early 2016.

Softsubs vs hardsubs - I'm a fan of softsubs myself, and totally understand those who love softsubs as well (what's not to love? lol), but there are a number of legitimate complaints subbers have been having of people taking their hard work and putting it on youtube to get paid off of.

Please know we are not putting any lakorns on youtube, and haven't been for a while. If you see lakorns on youtube, most likely those are not from the subber. Almost every subber I know is using downloads and dailymotion to upload their work. You can support these subbers by not watching the Youtube ripoffs and watching from the links I give you here and here.

The reason why we are not putting them up youtube is simple. Channel 3, Channel 7, OneHD and more will get the videos taken down very fast. It's not worth it to upload them, or to crop and distort the video just to put it on youtube. I wish we could, but that's how it is now.

So why mention this? Well, we're still debating this a bit. But ultimately, I think subbers have the main say in this debate. Thus...

Song Hua Jai Nee Puer Tur ~Two Spirits' Love - We took down the download links because we're making this hardsubbed. We may do this for several other lakorns on the site. So if you want the softsubs for Mafia, Lom Sorn Ruk series, better get them now. We'll reupload it when we're finished or you can watch it streaming here.
